I am a Master's student in Economics at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. My research interests include empirical macroeconomics, unconventional monetary policy, urban economics, and the intersection of economics and philosophy.

I am currently working as a Research Assistant at the Bank of Canada.


Experience

Research Assistant

Bank of Canada – Ottawa, ON/Remote

I contribute to the Canadian Economic Analysis department's Digital Transformation initiative by constructing data pipelines from Statistics Canada, replicating calculations from Statistics Canada documentation, and designing and building interactive dashboards using Tableau. I also perform research duties relating to Bayesian macroeconometrics.

I provided a wide range of support for undergraduate economics courses, including lecturing, grading, and hosting office hours. Past courses include Money & Banking, International Economics, and Monetary Economics.

As part of the Regional Analysis Division, I travelled across Western Canada to conduct interviews for the quarterly Business Outlook Survey. I also contributed to monitoring and modelling of the Canadian oil and gas sector.
